About us · ศรีรายา
A harbour family, a few boats, and a very old street.
Lanta Old Town sits on the island's sheltered east coast: wooden shophouses on one side of the lane, stilt houses over the water on the other. Chinese traders, Muslim fishing families and the Chao Leh sea people have shared this harbour for generations.
Araya Lanta Tour is a small local team. We run our own boats, keep the groups friendly, and pick you up from your hotel. The prices you see are the prices you pay — park fees are listed separately, never hidden.
- 1900sA trading port on stilts
Sailing junks from Penang and Phuket stop at Lanta's harbour; teak shophouses go up along the waterfront lane.
- 1950sThe longtail era
Fishing families switch to longtail boats. The pier becomes the island's front door to Krabi.
- TodaySlow travel, same street
The old houses now hold cafés and guesthouses — and our crew still sets out from these waters each morning.
