Nothing in the notebook matches that.
The afternoon snorkel leaves at 13:30, when the falling tide clears the water over Koh Maa and Koh Haa. Coral gardens are shallow here — perfect for first-time snorkelers and kids. You ride home through golden hour with snacks on deck.
Why 13:30? Low water = less swell, better visibility.

Our guides brief every boat on these five promises. Tick them off — it takes ten seconds and the reef notices.

Araya Lanta Tour is a family-run team at Saladan, on the north tip of Koh Lanta. Our boat crews grew up fishing these islands; our guides know which tide clears the Emerald Cave and where the turtles graze.
We keep groups small, brief every guest on reef etiquette and pay our national park fees in full. And when the sea says no, we listen.
